With April being Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month, Instagram super star Riley launched the #shinebrightforallanimals initiative to help raise money for the cause. He asked all his Instagram pet friends to shine bright for every animal around the world by posting pictures and videos with stars.

Animal cruelty is often left in the dark, but the people who help make a difference shine through like stars,”  says participant Riley Bean (so many Rileys on Instagram)

“We must fight against the spirit of unconscious cruelty with which we treat the animals. Animals suffer as much as we do,” chimes in Bella and Beau. “The humanity does not allow us to impose such suffering on them. It is duty to make the whole world recognize it. Until we extend our circle of compassion to all living things, humanity will not find peace.”
